Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

I bleached my hair Sunday (the 11th) and I plan on bleaching it again on Friday. The reason why I'm doing this is because I colored my hair after bleaching it and it became an orange color. I want to bleach it again and use a toner this time. Will bleaching it again kill my hair?

This is what I plan on doing:

1. Bleach hair to get to pale yellow stage

2. Apply toner

3. Bleach to color of choice

4. Add highlights

My hair is surprisingly healthy even though I bleached it yesterday. I don't really notice any difference from before %26amp; after bleaching ( I didn't use conditioner either). So, should I go for it?

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?
NO!!!

Never bleach your hair twice in a week. You've already destroyed it, you'll make it worse. Your hair need time . It would be best to wait at least a month. Usually, the orange color will have faded by then.
Reply:Don't do anything!

You should go to a salon and get it done professionally. It will cost you more, but they'll do it correctly.

Plus, always condition your hair when you get it processed. Processed hair becomes more porous and brittle. Conditioner helps to mitigate the damage.
Reply:I think it might be okay to bleach your hair again but use a conditioner. After bleaching twice your hair is gonna be quite dry!
Reply:Nooooooo deffinately DO NOT

i know from experience my hair got so thin and it started falling out and now im waiting for my hair to get long again it took it a year to get completely heathy again

bleaching the hair is the worst thing you can do to it

And im not just telling you this Just because

but because i went through it and it sucks when your hair falls out and gets really weak it takes a while to get it heathy again

Bleaching?

So, basically I want to dye the hair above my lip... how would I go about doing that?

Bleaching?
Jolen...but read the instructions carefully. You can get Jolen at the drug stores.
Reply:there's bleaching kits in the drugstores.
Reply:If your bleacing facial hair you should definately get it done perfessionaly. they do it at most salons.
Reply:shoot i would jusss get a couple waxing kits and keep on it everyday

boots

Bleaching..?

Is using bleach all around the house safe?

Bleaching..?
I believe it is.

I also believe its one of the best ways to kill germs.

Just make sure you are following the directions, and making sure you dilute the bleach with water, and dont mix it with anything that will cause a recation.

There is a few things you can mix bleach with that it safe, but most things will cause a very fowl odor if you mix them together.
Reply:It depends what you mean by safe. Are you using a spray? If so, are you careful not to inhale it? Breathing in bleach isn't good at all. Do you wear gloves? Because bleach is harmful to your skin. Also, all around the house your main problems are dust and fingermarks. Bleach does nothing for those. So it may be safe, but it's not the best cleaner outside of kitchens and baths.

Bleaching.?

is it possible to get your hair bleached white?

Bleaching.?
the best thing to do is talk to a stylist. they can tell you for sure if your hair will go white. There are 7 different layers of color that ones hair has to go through. If you hair is dark brown or black it is NOT recommended to go white...it will most likely turn ORANGE!! and it will not go any lighter unless you want it to break off...and It will break off trust me!

If you are a blonde it is easier to do a white. There is a fine line between a good white and a breakable white.

Go to a good salon and ask some questions. It can not hurt to ask.

Good luck.
Reply:Yes it's entirely possible, but you it might take hours and you could have burns and scabs on your head...not to mention the possibility of your hair falling.
Reply:yep,...but not nice clean white, its more of dirty white, lighter version of dirty blond color.....but it looks okay though
Reply:It is possible. But your hair will look dry and damage.
Reply:It depends what colour your natural hair is, if its to dark then it wont go white. Very rear you get white hair. Go to a hairdressers and ask if they could do a strand test see whet colour it comes out. Alot of hairdressers wont do full head bleach as it burns the scalp.

Bleaching...?

Well i have a mustache and i wanted to know if there are any home remidies to bleach or wax it b/c right now i've been shaving it for a year and my pores on my upper lip are gettin biiig. and i can not talk to mom about this shes not that kinda ma and she'll just say "no you don't." and awkwardly end the subject. HOME REMIDIES ANYONE?

Bleaching...?
You can use an eyebrow waxing kit to get rid of them. Bleaching is possible, but think about it....you have to sit there with that bleach underneath your nose for ten minutes.
Reply:there aren't really any home remedies for getting rid of hair, i would just get it waxed or buy a facial hair remover cream..
Reply:there is a bleaching product but i don't remember the name. Check at walmart.
Reply:Sally Hansen has facial hair bleach.

You can also try depilatory cream which takes the hair off directly at the skin. It's what I use and it works really well, and lasts for a few weeks.

Bleaching?

I'm a natural blonde and I dyed my hair hair brown a couple months ago.

I wanted to bleach my hair back blonde but after the strand test, it showed that my hair would just frizz out on the ends.

What can I do to help my hair restore the healthiness so I can get it bleached?

Bleaching?
Do lots of deep conditioning treatments.

Cut the split ends/frizzy bits off.

Use a low percentage of bleach/developer (like 20%) and apply it. Leave it. Rinse.

Then repeat in a few days. And don't forget to use a toner to get rid of yellow, ginger tones.
Reply:if you are processing your hair this much it will be damaged...but if you insist, your hair will be damaged. Bleaching hair is much harsher and bad fro it then dying it so i would give it a rest for a while, don't blow dry it too much and don't use any flat irons. After a few months go to a professional salon and have them dye your hair back.
Reply:proteintreatment

lots of conitioner after

get a trim

it will be normal aftet you just have to work at it

i bleach my hair and mine is healther then ppl i see at work

justm ake sure you use stuff from a beauty supply store not from like a drug store it doesnt work well

need anymore advice you can ask

Bleaching?

i dyed my hair black a month and a half ago.. and it faded allot iit's kind of brown on the tips.. and i was wonder. I want to bleach my hair myself and I'm scared because I've heard if i do it the wrong way my hair will fall out. And no, I don't want the advice " go to your hairdresser or salon" . I want to know what's a good type of bleach and what To do with it.

Bleaching?
DONT DO IT!!!!!!! Trust me, i am a qualified hairdresser that works in a very busy reputable salon, and the worst thing you could do is bleach it yourself!!!!!!! I wouldn't worry about it falling out as much as it looking absolutely feral. When lightening out black us hairdressers even struggle to get a nice result. Black is the worst colour to remove from the hair let me explain why! When lightening out black the hair will lightening inconsistently. for example: Depending on your natural hair shade it will be almost white in the roots, then go bright ORANGE thru the mid lengths and a Goldy colour where it had faded on the ends. If parts of your hair are still really dark (black) it will be a terrible shade of Orange!!!!! If i was to lightened black out of someones hair i would do it gradually and with foils. If you just put bleach all thru your hair it will look terrible. This time i would pay for a professional colour not something to attempt at home.
Reply:ok well first off all .. its gonna be difficult trying to bleach dyed black hair. but if you want to give it a try, you are definately taking your chances. try your best to wash out as much as the black dye as possible. buy any bleach blonde hair dye... frost and glow is good as well as Loreal... these home kits most likely won't let you achieve your desired colour. But try it anyways... good luck ... PS. any bleach will damage your hair... i suggest not going through with this.
Reply:You need to get a color remover first.

Go to a beauty supply store and talk to the cashier. They've gone to school and are licensed= free advice.

Your hair isn't going to be like it was until it grows out. When you use a permanent hair color or a semi permanent color on top of processed hair, it really soaks in to the folicles.

Once you use the remover, if you decide to go lighter, buy a peroxide and activator at the supply store.

If you can't go to a supply store, most drugstores have the stuff, if you must get a bleach/frost kit, just use the mix without the brush or cap, depending on how much hair you have, you might need more than one, which could be around $30. The supply store it would be around $10 and would do a better job.

As far as your hair falling out, it can only put up with so much abuse which is why everyone says to go to a professional. It will most likely get really damaged, slimy feeling. If you're like me when I was young and didn't give ashit about hair (it'll grow back) have fun and cut it off if it's too thrashed. Damaged hair can look cool if you style it right.
Reply:try going to the sally beauty supplies if you have one there. They have all kinds of bleaching kit you need to ask the cashier they will help u. Just remember to bleach your bottom here first before you do the top. And when you reach to the top with the bleach make sure you dont let the bleach touch your head scap too much because it will irritated it. Because you have black hair it would take you longer to bleach your hair. You can left the bleach on your hair for an hour. See what color you get. If its not the right color wait for the next day to try again but not on that following day. Remember to buy Effective haircare by ION. That is a great condition after you bleach because it soften your hair again leave it on for about a minute than rinse off. If you dont used this your hair would be dry like dead grass. Hope this helps
Reply:Sorry, but the safest and sanest thing for you to do IS go to your hairdresser. Many people don't understand the laws of color. If you dyed your hair black it's going to take a lot of work to get it blonde again. You are going to wind up with orange hair if you attempt it yourself. Yes, you might also wind up with fried hair too. Don't mess with it yourself. Let a professional do what they've been trained to do.

Why don't you want to go to the salon? It's going to cost a heck of a lot more in the long run if you do this yourself, as is evidenced by the fact that when you dyed it the first time the results were unsatisfactory.
Reply:if your careful and follow the box instructions you have nothing to worry about. BUT DO NOT KEEP IT IN LONGER thats when the hair starts coming out in clumps and you start crying like a newborn
Reply:You should probaly go to Sally Beauty if you have one there. They sell profesional hair coloring product. You can ask them for which would be the best. But what i do is I buy the Bleach powder packs $2.99 and a creme that goes with it and u can mix it togethere. Buy the Volume 40 if you really want it to be blonde. But if you dont dye ur hair much then get Volume 20 or 30. Mix it, put it on ur hair and then sit a dryer for about 30 to 40 minutes. The longer u stay the blonder it would get. Wash it off with warm water and thats it! lol.... make sure not to wash ur hair for another 3 days so ur hair wont get damage. GOOD LUCK!
Reply:i wouldnt bleach it yourself it will damage your hair and make it look dead plus it will take forever and you dont want that crap on you head it burns like hell and reaks i passed out and it bleached unevenly id dye your hair one solid color like brown and leave it at that but if you must bleach

go to the drugstore or walmart and buy two boxes three for long hair of the bleaching junk of your choice i used clairol and it only hurt my hair a little bit also get a box of blonde dye any color blonde will work and read what the boxes say if they say not for dark hair then dont use that one look at all the bleaching kits and see which is best for you

when you go to do it have someone to help you it needs to be applied fast and a friend will help out alot in making sure its even your hair will go through a ton of different stages including flame orange (it got suck here for me because i had to wait cause it was on for too long) and do not leave it on for longer then it says on the box even if it means having to do it the next day dye your roots last start at the ends when it comes to rinsing it out rinse it use a bad a** shampoo to wash your hair and then a conditioner of no lower quality then pantine perferably nexxus and leave it on for at least 5 minutes rinse let dry naturally the next day if its not light enough or its red bleach again only watch it closly even closer the previous day if it is the color you want then put the blonde dye on if necessary ( helps balance out the color) condition but dont wash and condition. everyday for at least a week no blowdryer or anything of the sort just go natural

again i wouldnt reccomend doing this but if you feel it is your only option i hope this helps just know that it is damaging even if you to a salon and you will need to take really good care of your hair till it grows out do what you think is best but know that it will hurt your hair

Bleaching?

I bleached my hair almost a month ago (well, the 19th it'll be a month) and I want to do it again around the 30th b/c it is starting to fade and my roots are starting to show. I had 2 use 2 boxes b/c I previosly colored my hair and it has a red tone and it is thick. This time though, I only plan to use 1 box. My hair kind of got damaged and I have split ends ( I also have't gotten a hair cut since february but I'm getting one around the 16th). I really want to do my hair again, but I don't want to have to regret it healthwise for my hair. Any tips?

Bleaching?
oh this is my life story too.

i got my hair bleached [im a natural brunette] on presidents day and my roots came back so i just dyed my hair black.

try dying it back to natural. that'd be sooo much healthier.
Reply:Just do the roots.
Reply:nobody cares about your hair. maybe you should shave it off
Reply:Home bleaching kits destroy your hair because they strip it of color and nutrients. You're going to make your hair more dry and brittle by using it but that's your choice. You can try to condition and use treatments but it'll do you little good. That's just the nature of the bleach job. Keep the split ends trimmed off regularly and avoid the bleach, your hair will be healthier and look a lot better.
Reply:OK if you do not want to go the best way (proffesional because they use different chemical dyes than over the counter it's easier on your hair ) then get that one box of hair color..... ONLY place it on your roots until it starts to turn.... most people will place the remaining bleach on the rest of the hair to do a touch up but you don't have to if it doesn't look faded. If your roots come up looking really brassy or reddish then I suggest using a toner. This is called a "double-process" if you do not want to use a toner and you have alot of red in your hair, you can use what is called a shampoo cap and semi permanent ASH hair dye. Ash means there is green in the color which counter balances the red tones! A shampoo cap is equal parts shampoo and semi perm hair dye!

Hope this helps!

OH and condition condition condition, get shampoo for DRY DAMAGED hair such as Paul Mitchell or Biosilk AND get Biosilk hair oil (you can get that at Target) you can also sleep in tons of hair conditioner or oil and wrap your hair with seran wrap! Sounds goofy and you look crazy but it works!
Reply:if you can afford a hair color specialists definitely use them. Out of a box will never look quite right. If you can't put "drabber" in your hair after coloring. It will tone your hair down. Drabber is by the hair color produts. Loreal is the best
Reply:Use a hot oil treatment on your hair and really make sure you moisturize properly before you color it again. I also recommend rubbing coconut oil in your hair every day after you wash it. Use only the best hair care products too (Garnier is good).
Reply:The biggest issue with bleaching is not overlapping the product. This is nearly impossible for you to not do at home. I strongly urge you to go to a salon. Your hair already is suffering. Home bleaching is the number one color correction I have to deal with in salon. If you like being light- do it right. In the salon. Best of luck.

Bleaching?

I would like to bleach my elbows XD they DON'T match the rest of me AT ALL-- and my knees I guess...not really having a problem with them- but hey might as well-- what would work?..I heard it's very hard to find something that will even it out :\ what can I use...that will work fast and wont give me skin cancer or something like that :

Bleaching?
|I use pure Vitamin E...it's natural and it's better for your skin. Also, instead of "bleaching" try a toner on a regular basis in those area's. That along with a little patients can change those troubled spots.
Reply:Talk to a dermatologist.
Reply:I think everyone naturally has darker elbows and knees...I would just keep them moisturized.
Reply:don't blench it it gives you cancer and it turns out nasty i am warning you my aunt did it
