Bleaching my arm hair?

My arm hair is very dark and i would like to use Sally Hansen Extra Strength Cream Hair Bleach. My question is when you bleach your hair is it permanent or does it "wear off" and i have to bleach again? I don't really know anything about bleaching hair.

Bleaching my arm hair?
Why would you bleach it why not just shave it off!
Reply:i wouldnt do that if i were you
Reply:weird!
Reply:it wears off. it takes a while to wear off though
Reply:permanent and it burns
Reply:yeah dont bleach your arm hair....................No guy wants to actually see the hair on the girl................
Reply:The hair on the outside of your arm will stay bleached, but as your hair grows back in, the new part will be dark. Be careful! you may end up having to shave your arm if you cant subject to the same hair to multiple treatments
Reply:shave it off but i wouldnt do it
Reply:your hairs always growing so im sure you'll have to redye
Reply:i did that last week!

It wore off :(

and it bleached my skin too.

well it does work for

like a week.
Reply:u can bleach ur arm hair?

well bleaching hair is so unbearable so i wouldnt do it if i were you
Reply:I would not suggest you do that yourself just in case you mess up or something. Consider going to a Professional beauty salon!
Reply:your natural hair color will come back out....it's the same thing as bleaching the haor on your head.
Reply:Your do realize your arm hair may fall off right? And its not permanent but it does last for a VERY long time. And the more you bleach your arm the more harmful chemicals you are putting into your body. What's wrong with our arms now?
Reply:You will have to continuously bleach, the hair will eventually be dark again...

I would not suggest that you bleach your arms. My sister has a lot of dark hair on her arms and when she was younger she tried to bleach them and it looked so weird! She now has them waxed and it looks so much nicer.

Good luck!
Reply:It kind of grows out, like if you bleached your hair on your head. even though it doesn't seem like arm hair grows, it does.
Reply:Arm hair is normal... I wouldn't try it if I were you....
Reply:Bleaching it is fine. Your hair will gorw out. It might fade as well. Just bleach it again after a month. I bleach my upper lip and it's fine. So good luck :]
Reply:All bleach "wears off" no hair coloring is permanent !
Reply:It can be permenate. It depends on the kind. Bleaching your hair. damages it.

Bleach is permanent. It strips the colour from hair leaving it at it's lightest possible - blonde.

Your arm hair will get dark again but only as it grows back which will take quite a few weeks (don't know how many - depends on how quick your arm hair grows)

Don't leave the cream on for any longer than is recommended, you could end up with very nasty burns. I USED THIS EXACT STUFF!!

well yeah you will have to bleach it again but the bad thing is that when you shower and use soap it kind of comes off and the roots willl appear natural colored after a while. just dont use soap on your arms to keep it from washing away. another thing is that it makes your arm hair grow longer and it's just weird. my aunts said to trim it when it does. along with this you could use "aveeno positively smoth: after you use it for a while it makes the hair grow less and kind of makes it lighter after you use it continuously. any more questions email me! hope i helped. =]
Reply:No it doesnt wear off but it would look kinda weird cuz if your hair on your head is dark then it looks natural to have dark hair on your arms but do whatever you want.
Reply:it wears off, i have the same problem and i bleached my hair and it totally weared off! unless it says permanet, it wears off!
Reply:It is just like dying the hair on your head. Eventually, your arm hair will have roots and that is "weird".

It far more common, and practical...to shave it. No, you will not have stubbly arms and yes, it does take longer to grow back.

and it does burn dont keep it on for 15 minutes. i got these nasty burns after a while. my friend shaves her arms i know and YES she does get stubble it would be better to leave them like they are then to shave them
Reply:I dont either..... but i guess its like bleaching your hair..... I would try it...=)
Reply:Bleaching your arm hair may turn your skin red or irritate the skin, shaving, or waxing may work.
Reply:I think you should seriously reconsider this one! I have dark arm hair, as does my sister. She bleached hers before and it looked stupid. You could see the hair still, it was just a different color. If you don't like your arm hair... shave it off. Otherwise, get used to it and love yourself for your natural looks. The bleach won't last forever either.
Reply:Well, I don't know any side effects of the product. But the idea itself sounds fine to me. :) Good luck.
