Would Bleaching My Straight Hair Wreck It?

Hi, I am Japanese and have straight hair, i was thinking of dying it but i have to bleach it first. I have heard that bleaching straight hair makes it curly, but would it wreck my straight hair?

Would Bleaching My Straight Hair Wreck It?
Bleaching typically at least dries out the hair, and can even cause a lot of damage to the hair strands. That, in and of itself, can cause your straight hair to look like straw and just unattractive. Please do consult with a haircolorist, and do Not bleach your hair yourself. To go from brunette to blonde, the hair needs to be first stripped of its color. I think that this is a site about haircolor and to perhaps find a certified colorist in your locale: www.haircolorist.com The site does have a message board of other consumers such as yourself though please do personally check with a haircolorist in person.
Reply:I am half Vietnamese and my hair is super straight. I bleached my hair platinum blonde many times and it didn't turn curly. Your hair will lose it's luster and it will be hard to dye it back dark. But I loved my blonde hair, but it is hard to maintain. My roots grow out fast! I did the dying myself, but if you are a first timer I would go to a pro for sure. Good luck!!
Reply:of course

but if u do treatment everyday... it will b ok n not so serious prob...
Reply:It will probbaly make your hair a bit dry, but I don't think it wil make your straight hair curly...
Reply:It won't curl, but it WILL be more prone to frizz. You are essentially stripping the hair's outer layer off, the part that looks smooth and pretty. Good luck! : )
