Dying, Bleaching, and Totally Confused!?

When I dyed my hair the first time my natural color was very blonde. I continued dying it darker and darker- and now I want to just let it grow out naturally.

I thoguht about bleaching it- to get it closer to my natural color so it won't be as shocking when it grows back. It tends to look gray when it grows back next to my brunette-dyed hair.

Would bleaching it be a problem after dying it? I.E.- color issues, damage problems, or a better way to grow it back.

Any help would be great!

Dying, Bleaching, and Totally Confused!?
go to a hair dresser and get her to dye the top part of your hair the light blonde that it is naturally, when it keeps growing it will be your natural colour and wont look odd at all.
Reply:I got the same "gray" issue! No one sees it but me. Thank goodness!

The advice to me was to see if a salon could match my roots.
Reply:You won't have any problems. It'll be fine. Just leave it on longer. You will damage it, of course, but you damaged it when you dyed it. Just condition a LOT, deep condition, in the shower, etc., and your hair should return to normal, or as close to normal as it could get.
Reply:washing it alot, then the color fades out
Reply:I would recommend going to a salon for a consultation and they would be able to colour it back to you natural hair without as much damage. Wouldn't recommend doing it yourself with bleach have to constantly watch.
