Manic Panic Flash Lightning Bleaching Kit?

Hi everyone, I could really use your input. I recently attempted to bleach my hair at a salon and the results was a green hue that even a toner could not cover up. I went and died it red, per advice I received which indicated that the red would balance out the ash that is causing my hair to pull green. Even test strands after this are coming out a green color. I have heard wonderful things about the manic panic bleaching kit (40 volume) and purchased it online. While I wait for it to come I wanted to get some input and stories on your experiences using this product. I have been told its one of the best bleaching kits that is out there and Im hoping that it will rectify that green hue.

If you have any insight (that of course doesnt include returning to the salon which did this to begin with and spending another fortune) I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

First you need to figure out why your hair is green. Was it a toner that they out on it that did it, is it something your doing(water at home, products you use) The bleach might not take it out. Even if you put red on it. Try a purple base toner, if you want a white blond, make sure you bleach only the new growth and use a soap cap (bleach mixed with shampoo) For the last 5 min to try to get the green out. Also try not to overlap the bleach if you want hair left. Make sure that the manic panic is on the scalp bleach. I would really go see a professional to get it fixed!!!
Reply:Funny, red always balanced for me. I'm thinking it's not green because of the dye, have you been in chlorinated water lately? My friend's hair pulls green all the time, because she's on a swimteam. Because of that, she usually keeps it dyed a deep brown color, with a red tone, so the green isn't obvious.

Figure out -why- your hair is pulling green!!
