Bleaching/Dying hair Q?

I bleached and dyed my hair pinkish red, about two weeks ago. I don't plan on re-bleaching it for a while, but how long should I wait to redye and bleach?

Reply:You can touch up the reddish color anytime you feel you need to. Use 10volume peroxide to make sure it will be gentle enough to continuously redo. Rebleach when you have enough roots to touch up with out over lapping the previously bleached area. Thats when you get breakage. Use the same volume peroxide you used to bleach the first time. The easiest way to do this this to part your hair in 4 sections ear to ear and straight down the middle (forehead to neck). Clip up the sections. Apply the bleach at the root and then move about a one inch section with a tail comb or bottom of the brush and keep going until all sections are done . This technique will give you the most control to be careful to not get the previously bleached hair. It will be very help to have a friend give you a hand.
