Bleaching my hair 3 to 4 times ..?

Will it eventually become a very white blonde ?? Or will it not even work ? Is this color achievable through bleaching only ?

Right now my hair is a yellow color ( from a dye ) and I would like to know the best way to get it to a platinum white...should I just keep on bleaching it ?! I am aware of the damage ... I would just really like to know how to accomplish this color.

Bleaching my hair 3 to 4 times ..?
pretty much platinum blonde is from that alone, although some people dye it to that colour mostly the best results are from bleeching, but leaving bleach in and doing it all in one go is prob best way, just try not to turn it ginger, be ready for mass itchiness and try to not do it so often, once every so often, and letting your hair recover after is the key!
Reply:If you have naturally blonde hair, leave the bleach on longer and it will get platinum. If you have naturally dark hair, it may be impossible to truly make it platinum with bleach.

And by bleach, I mean a normal hair kit that includes bleach as one of its ingredients... I've never used Clorox...
Reply:Go to a good hair stylist. I ruined my hair bleaching it over and over when I was younger and never got it to the desired lightness. It just remained that brassy yellow look, which I hated. Someone who is trained to do hair will be able to help you with this look you want. Good luck!
Reply:Go to Sally Beauty and get "Kaliedacolors". GEt a blue pack, and a purple pack. (blue and purple together make it less chance of turning orange, takes out the brassiness and makes it more white) Then get some 40 Volume developer. If you have a ton of hair, mix the whole blue and purple together. If just a little, you can mix like half the blue and half the purple. Mix that with enough developer to make a paste, not too runny or thick, but just in the middle. Put this all over your head, and wrap that in plastic. I think a plastic bag would be best, saran wrap MAY melt. Then blow dry your head for about 20 minutes. Take a strand and rinse off the bleach and see if it's as light as you like. If not, reapply to that strand and blow dry a few minutes longer. Repeat till as light as you like.

WARNING: This will make your hair feel very brittle, like all bleach does. You'll have platinum blonde, but it won't necessarily be soft and manageably. FYI.
