BLEACHING ROOTS I'm about to bleach my roots with 30 vol peroxide & basic white powder. What can i apply..

to the hair i dont want the bleach to touch to protect it as i'm bleaching? Also, whats the best way to get my hair all one even color without applying bleach to already processed hair? Seems like the back is very white, the sides dont quite match exactly. If i was to add a toner wont I have to have the hair all the same tone before doing so for even color?

Thanks :)

In the past, I would touch up the roots and then do a nice heavy highlight and follow up with a toner to blend the colors together more.

You can also try starting at the front and working to the back, and then pulling the bleach through to the ends on the stuff that is not as light for the last few minutes.

Just an FYI - the 30 volume developer is more likely to cause blistering. It's worth the extra development time to use the 20, in my opinion.
