Bleaching hair.?

I was previously a red head but am trying to bleach my hair, the top area is fine but as i get closer to the tip I find that i can't get rid of the previous color should I attempt to just saturate whatever didn't get bleached with a bleaching product if so any product recommendations? **currently using L'oreal Blondissima***

Bleaching hair.?
When bleaching hair, always first apply bleach to all of your hair except the hair 1/2 inch from your scalp and lighten it to yellow. The heat from your scalp is going to process the bleach a lot faster than the hair further down from your scalp, leaving you with 'hot roots' (meaning your roots will be white and the rest of your hair is still yellow or even orange). Once your ends are yellow, apply bleach to the 1/2 inch left near your scalp and process until your entire head is pale yellow, or the color of the inside of a banana peel. After this, tone with the shade of blonde you would like with 20 volume developer (I use Creme Toners, available at Sally's). Also, I like to use L'Oreal Super Blanc. It's safe to put on your scalp. Always check to make sure the bleach you're using is safe for on-scalp processing, not just for highlights. Good luck!
Reply:since you bleached your hair you have a pretty much clean head

now you can dye it

but only if your up for it
Reply:Hi. Why dont you jsut go to a hair dresser? If you attempt bleaching your hair again you might get a 90% bad result.
Reply:why not trim the ends off.. it is probably fryed hair that wont take the dye anymore.
