Is bleaching bad for the underam area?

i bought this DIY bleaching kit. it contains a pack of bleaching powder that you mix with water then you'll apply it to your skin. i don't know what its ingredients are because its not stated in the box. it does smell a lot like cornstarch. nothing happened to my skin though.

you think bleaching is bad for the underarms? i'm desperate to lighten my underarm because my whole body is olive colored but my underarms are dark! help!!!

Is bleaching bad for the underam area?
Is the product meant for skin? If so, then it should be fine. Always do an allergy test though -- mix up a teeny amount and put it on your underarm and wait to see if it causes any reaction (itching, burning, blisters, swelling, etc). If you don't react, you should be fine. Do not keep the product on longer than the instructions say to. If you do it and you're all irritated/sore, wrap an ice pack in a small towel and place it under your arms (NEVER put ice directly on skin!).

Keep in mind too, that it may cause the hair under your arms to turn orangey-blonde rather than "invisible" like you may be thinking!

Good luck!
Reply:oh my goodness never use bleach, a face product that you could use for bleaching the face and dark spots such as MD forte, look it up one the Internet at mdforte.com you can buy any product such as that containing the same ingredients. No bleach ouch
Reply:DUH, Bleaching is so bad. That's stupid!
Reply:maybe you have underarm fungi then. get it checked out by a doctor before using something like that!
Reply:I wouldn't use that same stuff for such a sensitive area, so try and go to your chemist and look for something specific! Good luck!
