Bleaching Hair?

My natural hair color is a dark brown. I've dyed my hair twice, and put highlights in it once or twice. But, it has not been dyed anything drastic. It's only been dyed dark brown (after putting blonde highlights in) and been dyed black from dark brown. Now, it's getting to the point where you can see the brown color coming back out. But, lately I've been thinking about bleaching it and putting ACTUAL COLOR in it. Such as bleaching and putting some electric blue tips. (Or highlights) Would it be a very smart idea to do this, or is it to unhealthy since I've dyed it twice? And if I did so, would the color actually stay in since I'm BLEACHING it?

Bleaching Hair?
I bleached my hair for 3 years and i had white peroxide hair .. and my hair is wrecked now and all difernt lenghts, i wouldn'd advice this .. and bleaching your hair and putting another colour over is a bad idea because bleach takes the colour out ur hair and the pigments is what keeps the colour onto your hair .. so if you where to put a colour onto the bleach it's jst going to go lighter and lighter evrytime u wash it .. ahnd if ur playing to have bleach hair ahnd put a colour eg blue pink red etc in it the same will happen only the colour will run ... ( had that experince when i had bleach hair with pink in it and my hair looked like candyfloss because the colour ran evrytym i washed it .. ! hope av been a wee bit of help to u =]
Reply:UMM BLEACHING YOUR HAIR ISNT ALL THAT GREAT BUT IT IS POSSIBLE BUT YOUD HAVE TO BLEACH YOUR HAIR, THEN WAIT A COUPLE DAYS AND PUT THE BLUE IN IT. BUT BUY SOME FORM OF DEEP CONDITIONER OR MOISTURIZER FOR AFTER YOUR DONE WITH ALL THE DYING

Reply:I bleached my hair and now it will not stop breaking. It is the worst thing to do for your hair. It makes it look very dry and unless it it is done professionally it might come out blotchy. Just be very careful and make sure you keep it very conditioned with leave in conditioner.
