Bleaching dark brown hair to blonde at a salon, how do you take of roots?

I have dark brown hair and am planning to bleach it to a natural blonde at a salon. No dying or anything else done to my hair after.

I want to be able to touch up my roots at home so is all I need is bleach? Put it on at the roots and blend a little, then try to get it to match the color of the rest of my hair?

Won't the bleaching job by the salon have a slightly diff color than bleach you would get from a box? Thus the root touch ups wouldn't look good?

I want to get the initial bleaching at a salon because it's better for your hair but I don't want to go there every month for root touch ups. HELP??

anything from a box is never bleach NEVER

you should never ever use that stuff on your hair

you need real bleach to do your roots it will go through the same blonde stages as it will in the salon so you can get it the same color....

always use a blue bleach never a bleach kit

but this stuff a t a beauty supply store

btw bleach is bleach no matter if you do it at home or at a salon same things.
Reply:well bleach is the worst thing you can do to your hair... it damages it like crazy so make sure your willing to take the risk... but if your hair is really healthy then it shouldnt be too bad but use lots of deep conditioner. the thing is you really dont want to do bleach yourself unless you have experiance. i reconment just going to get touch ups every so many weeks.
