Bleaching your hair.....?

i have a question about bleaching your hair...recently i bleach my hair using jus half of the kit and i never use anything to cover my hair and the colour is not really bright enough for me and i have already wait for about 40 mins.

does it really must use one whole kit to apply to my hair and does me must use cover plastic of anything to cover my hair when bleaching??

As long as theres a good coating it shouldnt matter how much you use, try wrappin ya head in glad wrap while waiting , it heats it....
Reply:try heating it up with the blowdryer
Reply:Put a plastic bag and towel over your head while the product is applied. Hair colour and bleach are both activated by heat and it will work better with it covered. The amount of product doesn't matter as long as your hair is covered if it still doesn't work try a higher volume peroxide.
Reply:Im a hairdresser and bleaching hair is one of the hardest things to get right even as a professional. If the product covers all your hair then you dont need to use a full kit. Depending on how dark your hair is in the first place it will only lift up to a certain degree (if dark usually a brassy colour that needs toning) plastic wrap will help the colour move along faster but it wont help you get lighter. As i said your hair as an individual will only lighten to a certain degree. if the mix isn't a powder and a liquid you mix together it is not the strongest colour you can get. Powders are the strongest bleach you can get but they can irritate the scalp if not done properly. If you want a nice blonde it is best to see your hairdresser. any other colour is fine to do at home but blonde's can go terrible wrong
