Bleaching my hair made it turn orange! What can I do?

I bleached my hair about two weeks ago, from it's dark purple colour. I decided I want to go back to my natural light ash blond colour, but it turned out orange due to my dark colour. Reading the box, it suggested I tried bleaching again, which I did after waiting about a week.

After two bleaches, my hair is still orange. I have a very tight budget, which has proven to be a problem. I also don't want to risk bleaching or dying again in case my hair becomes too thin or damaged.

Has anyone got any alternative suggestions?

once you dye your hair with a colour that has red in it you can not turn it blonde it is a very hard process dont bleach it any more you will only ruin your hair give your hair some deep conditioning treatments buy your self a rich repairing conditioner wash your hair realy towel dry it laver your towel dried hair in conditioner put clingfilm or plain plastic bag on your head then a towel which has been on a hot radiater round your head to keep the heat in this will let the conditioner really soak in to your hair then in a week or so put a brown semi permanent hair color on but it has to have warmth in it a bit of red like a chestnut or chocolate brown that will sort your orange tones out and you will be ok with semi as it wont be harsh on your hair but as for gettin it bak to your natural colour dependin on the condition of your hair u would probably have to get the colour stripped my advice is to go to a salon so they can see your hair and the condition of it you may have to cut alot of it of and have hilites to slowly get it bak lightened to your natural color if you realy dont want to put the brown on your hair go see your hairdresser for advice good luck
Reply:pull it up and wear a hat!!!
Reply:Dye it back
Reply:It all depends on the color that you are looking for. But rather than risk damaging your hair more than what it is I would suggest to get a semi permanent color( or rinse) and just rinse you hair, rather than dying it again.
Reply:The opposite of orange is blue so in order to tone out the brassy orange you have to get a blue based toner. You can find one at Sally's.
