Bleaching hair?

Ok.. so im dying my hair bright colours and Iv been told i need to bleach my hair. Any tips on how to do so? and as i have already dyed black hair.. will that affect anything? Iv already bleached my fringe but it turned out copper but i liked it so stopped, but apparantly if i wanted bleached fringe, like white i needed to keep bleaching it over and over till it goes whitish blonde...? And after i bleach it do i have to wait a while or can i directly dye it straight after? Any tips on bleching? thanks !

Try L'Oreal Ultra Bleach. You may have to still redo several times to get rid of the black.





It's tricky, would be better if you let your hair grow out. I suggest, for the meantime, just do the front, some streaks or chunks of your hair, rather than all of it, else I fear you'll have a frustrating time dying your hair.





And yes, you have to bleach first for a bright color to show up properly.

YOU CAN OF COURSE APPLY COLOR TO BLEACHED HAIR AFTERWARDS.





BUT IF IT IS NOT LIFTED TO THE MAXIMUM AND YOU DO NOT HAVE EXTREMELY STRAIGHT PARTINGS YOU MAY RUN INTO PROBLEMS.

Reply:after bleaching it use shampoo for blondes, no need for the expensive stuff john freida will do. And use hair sprays like sun-in or some off brand.
Reply:I have really dark hair, so when I wanted to dye my hair bright colours I had to strip the colour until it was really blond. The lighter the hair, the brighter the colour will be.


I used a powdered bleach mixed with peroxide (You have to know what you are doing to use this stuff as it is VERY TOXIC).


You should only bleach the same section of hair 2-3 times at most. Any more, the hair will be so damaged, it will become brittle and break off.
