Please Read!!!! Bleaching/dying my hair at home. What is the safest way possible?

Telling me to get it professionally done will not change my mind. I'm sorry but it just wont. So please what is the safest way to bleach/dye my hair. Best products to use pre-bleach, when bleaching and after bleaching. Best products to use when dying my hair the color I want.. And after.

It would be a great help if you could give me a lot of details!

If you have a favorite hair color line, you can call their toll-free number for advice on how to do things safely. (They'll suggest a strand test and a patch test to see the likely results and make sure you're not allergic, for one thing.) I worked one of those hotlines a few years ago, and I had more training than I've had for any other job, so they can give you some good advice. I don't know the latest products as it's been quite a while, but that would be a start. (Or if people here suggest some particular brands, you can call their 800 numbers.)
