Bleaching Kits and color ?

I want to bleach my hair, but I have orangish brown hair from dying my dark brown hair, blonde. Well I want to bleach it. But most likely it will turn orange. So I would like to put color in it also. How bad will it damage it?

Also about how much do the hair bleaching kits cost?

Bleaching Kits and color ?
Since you have artifical color depositied in your naturally dark brunette hair you will need to use a color stripper before bleaching to remove the artifical pigment out of your hair. Apply fresh bleach on your hair is only intended for those who have virgin hair. Go to your local sally's beauty supply ask the salesperson and he or she will determine the right color stripper for your hair. While you are there ask the salesperson there for the blonding products which are the developer I recommend anywhere from a 20-40 volume but not higher( I recommend the 20 volume delveloper because it is the most gentle), blue lightening powder and the lightening gel be sure to buy an applicator bottle there too. Once you have used the color stripper your hair will be orange. Do not be alarmed. After you have used the color stripper rinse condition and you are ready for the bleaching process. In the appllicator bottle mix 2 ounces of developer with 2 lightening blue powder packets shake unitl the powder is dissolved then the lightening gdel or creme whichrver you prefer and shake for 30 seconds. Apply the lightening mixture to hair but don't touch the roots yet. Once the lightening mixture is applied fully then you may touch the roots. Let the lightening mixture devleop in your hair. Your hair will go through several stages before it is fully lightened. My recommendation is to leave the lightening mixture for no more than an an hour to two hours because the color stripper will leave your hair very porous. Once you hair is lightened to a golden yellow rinse condition and I recommend that you give your hair a day or two to heal. Now you are ready to apply the color. My recommendation is using the Loreal Feria #72 Caramel Kiss Dark Iridscent Blonde it is wonderful all over color which is gentle enough to use on pre-lightened hair. It also comes with an innovative anti-brass conditioner for blondes. Allow for it to process for 25 minutes and you will have beautiful rich dark blonde hair. With the color stipper the bleach and the haircolor will be around $20-30 dollars US. Which is much cheaper than a couple of trips to the salon where you are expected to pay $80-100 a pop. Go to sally beauty supply and you will have all the key ingredients to achieve beautiful salon inspired hair at home without having to pay a fortune. Take Care
Reply:hey,

i found that my hair would also go an orangey color after home bleaching kits, but now i use B Blonde bleaching kit costs about £5 ($10)..i left it on for about 90 minutes and the result was kinda like a paris hilton bleach blonde which is what i wanted, also to keep it light and orange free i use john freida sheer blonde shampoo, or the l'oreal purple shampoo which gets rid of brassy tones.
