Bleaching black hair...?

Can I cut my hair after bleaching it, or do I need to cut it before bleaching it? it's quite short anyway, i'm just thinking of the tips..

Bleaching black hair...?
I would trim it afterwards, because bleaching will do some damage, and may give split ends. You want to be sure to at lease trim the ends afterwards.
Reply:cut it before so you don't have so much to bleach cost less
Reply:I wouldn't recommend bleacing your hair to begin with, because bleaching is a very damaging process, and the effects on your hair are that much more drastic if you're going from black to light. That said, II would cut it after. That was you can assess the damaged areas and know how much you need cut off.
Reply:You didn't say whether your hair relaxed. If your hair is relaxed I would not bleach it. Your hair might break off, and if it doesn't break off your hair will feel very brittle and dry.

If your hair is natural AND healthy, it is safe to bleach. For the damage you could possibly do to your hair I would only go to licensed professional hairdresser for this service..Why take the risk of ruining your hair saving a few dollars..
Reply:If you are going to bleach it, definatly cut after so you can remove what hair was fried in the process, since bleaching black hair will be at LEAST a double process.
