Clorox bleach to bleach hair?
about the fact that you're a moron.
Reply:DON'T !!!! You'll ruin your hair.

You can also make yourself VERY ill and maybe even kill yourself. The Bleach will soak through your hair and wick into your follicles - can basically poison yourself.
Reply:Are you serious?!?! No way...you'll damage your hair and it can fall out!
Reply:omg dont freaking do that!!!! thats insane....go to a salon....or if you dont want to spend that much money, get a lightening kit at kroger or walmart or something....geez!!
Reply:NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bleaching looks horrible on anyone and this will just ruin your hair!!! go to a salon and get some caramel highlights first to see if you like it.....
Reply:bleach IS NOT GOOD!!! Lemon juice will lighten your hair, especially if you sit in the sun.
Reply:yea go ahead if your stupid enough !!!
Reply:you;re EFFIN DUMB!

you cant be serious ?!?!

I am taking it that you are really old or really dumb ..

Reply:lol...dont worry about all these ppl ok that are calling you dumb

you are not the only peson who might ask that

but the answer is no

you need hair bleach whihc you can buy at any beauty store like sallys...or like that....♥

ignore all those bad comments..
Reply:Very very dangerous, won't work, your hair is a protein and will turn to mush, you will burn your scalp and may blind yourself. Go to a professional please. Hair products in the drug store are to be used what they are intended for. Clorox is to be used for certain types of clothing also, not silk(a protein) and not wool (another protein) have you used bleach on silk or wool? do you see all the holes that appeared and how the garment fell apart? you don't want to do that to your hair. Besides, It would probably turn your hair an ugly brown yellow in color if it would work anyway, which it won;t for all the reasons above.
Reply:If we didn't have Yahoo answers, I wonder how many people would actually put clothing bleach on their head??

Read your bottle of laundry bleach, you'll likely see a little warning that reads "CAUSTIC". Caustic means burning which is probably something you don't want on your hair. Bleach designed for hair is typically diluted to approx 10%, this means that for every drop of bleach, there are 9 drops of water added. Your laundry bleach is probably significantly higher. You'll find that cleaning products have a higher concentration of bleach than laundry or hair bleach. Toilet bowl cleaner has bleach in it too, but if you've ever washed a toilet without using gloves, you'll understand why you don't want to use it on your head.

Hair bleach is diluted a lot because adding water means that it will only give you blisters rather than eat your skin (if you leave it on for hours). However, if you've ever bleached your friends hair without gloves, you'll find that after 20 minutes, your hands start to burn, then blister (I've done this, now you don't have to!)

No, you can't do just streaks! No, you can't do just the tips! No, you can't do your whole head! No, you also won't last one hour with your hair in a tub of laundry bleach! CAUSTIC! Wiki agrees that it will burn your skin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach . Wiki even goes further to mention that it will also burn your mucous membranes (your throat, nose, eyes).

From dictionary.com

Caustic

–adjective

1. capable of burning, corroding, or destroying living tissue.

probably not something you want on your head for 1 hour...
Reply:NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! THIS IS NOT OKAY!!!!! Your hair will fry! you will be soooo luck if you have any left after an hour. get it done professionally. clorox bleach is not meant for hair, thats why professionals don't use it. Go to the salon. GO TO THE SALON!
