I have medium brown hair color with reddish reflects, whenever I dye my hair ( i use medium matt blonde with little green variation) it turns to reddish color (of course one of the reasons is ecause my hair has red pigments), this time I' ve decided first to bleach my hair and then color it, considering that I have dry and frizzy hair, do you advise bleaching my hair?
Bleaching the hair first and then dye favorite color?
No no no no! A million times noooooo!!!! Even if you have super healthy hair you shouldn't use bleach!
Please go to a salon... I know it can be expensive but its worth it! The chemicals they put in salon dyes nowadays are much less harmful than they used to be and have moisturing treatments in them...... maybe get highlihgts so you dont have to keep going back every 6 weeks, you can leave it 8 or 10.
Reply:No! Go to a beautician! Do not bleach your own hair, you will hate yourself. You will end up with spotting, Drying and frizz! Do not do it! I went to school for it and still never do my own hair. Suck it up save your money and go to a pro! You will end up going anyway if you f-it up!
Reply:bleaching and dying always makes your hair in worse condition then it was. i would advise against it if you want it to be healthy again.
Reply:oh boiiii.
Ok, if your going to bleach again, do a root touch up. You don't want ur hair falling out and feeling like straw. You'll end up having to cutt it all off. I would advise a deep condition first, then root touch up with the lightener. If your overall hair is too red for you, use the bleach on the rest of ur head until u see the desired results but not longer than 35 minutes or so. Rinse, DEEP CONDITION again.. and if u want a certain colour blonde, add the blonde colour to it the NEXT DAY... then go easy on flat irons, curling irons, etc.. baby ur hair. next time u get roots, ONLY do ur roots. If all this is too confusing or ur iffy, go to a salon lol. good luck!
Reply:NO! do not bleach your whole head!! especially if it is dry and damaged as it is, bleach will make it ALOT worse, bleach, if not used in a timely and correct manner can a very bad experience! if u dont want to see any red in your hair, u will want to use haircolor that is ashy. it may sound icky, but ash has green in it and green cancels red to get a blonde or brown shade, depends on the levels u use and color. please go to a trusted salon and have a consultation with a stylist. they r ususally free, and u can save your hair in the long run!
