I have taken my hair from jet black to a light orange using quick 'n easy color fix (my natural color is dark ash blond) I seem to have reached a plateau with the color fix and then decided to use bleach to lighten the color before dying to a color close to my natural - BUT, the bleach just turned my hair a shade darker and brown... I tried the same patch again(I'm strand testing) with bleach - same result. HOW DO I GET MY HAIR LIGHT ENOUG TO DYE BLOND AGAIN?!
How do i bleach hair after "color fix"?
I don't know what quick'n easy uses. Many are just bleach products. You CAN get a color stripper called SalonCare Color Corrector at Sally's for 12.99. It strips all the color off and leaves only your NATURAL COLOR and whatever highlights you might have had without damaging the hair. At this point, it sounds like you've gotten as far as you can with bleach. You need to visit a stylist to finish your correction, otherwise you might leave this with no hair.
